Mary Hollowell offers a unique blend of experience that few have. I am is a Wall Street veteran with 25 years’ experience as the strategic partner to senior management serving as an executive assistant. My first job in Wall Street was working as a temp in the 80s while studying acting with the renowned coach Lee Strasberg and pursuing an acting career in New York. Growing up in Southern California to a father who was a decorated war hero, home builder and entrepreneur, I witnessed firsthand the resourcefulness, resilience and the extraordinary work ethic it takes to succeed. Competing in equestrian show jumping growing up, I bring to the table an additional level of experience in leadership. Competing in show jumping is a school of life….and it’s one of the few sports where men and women are equal. Being a great horseman does not rely on physical strength but more on the mind and sensibility. I hold a BA from New York University, The Gallatin School of Individualized Study and have been an active SGI-USA member for 25 years, a global network that supports peace, culture and education activities worldwide.
